Bon Journey — Playing the Best of Journey & Bon Jovi

Devon Allen Johnson & Ruff Creek is a country-rock act from the Pittsburgh area. The band, billed under Johnson’s name, has been working the regional circuit since 1997. Johnson fronts the group on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, and the act built its name headlining bars and clubs across Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Booking materials also list the band as an opener for national country acts, including Blake Shelton, Gary Allan, Craig Morgan, Travis Tritt, Trace Adkins, Phil Vassar, Lonestar, Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, Dwight Yoakam, and the Charlie Daniels Band. The lineup behind Johnson has changed over the years, so older published rosters should not be treated as current. The show is high-energy country rock with a steady live groove.

The group’s second album, No Regrets, was released in 2006 on Beacon Hill. Pittsburgh City Paper reviewed it that November, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette covered the record in January 2007 after Froggy added “No Regrets” and “You Change” to its playlist. “Bet He Didn’t Say That,” the first single from that album, received national airplay and a reported 24-week run on the Music Row charts. Much of the album was co-written by Johnson with Pittsburgh songwriter Dave Pahanish. Later releases credited to the project include the 2022 EP Forward on Faith and the singles “Again” and “Drunk Into It.” Devon Allen Johnson & Ruff Creek remains a working country-rock act on the Western Pennsylvania club and festival circuit.

Bon Journey is a Pittsburgh-based tribute act dedicated to delivering the classic hits of Bon Jovi and Journey in one high-energy live performance. Formed to celebrate two of arena rock’s most enduring catalogs, the band brings powerful vocals, tight musicianship, and the full spirit of those iconic songs to stages across Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Fronted by Bobby Kellar on lead vocals, the group features a strong supporting lineup that captures the soaring harmonies, driving rhythms, and anthemic energy fans expect from both acts.

With a setlist packed with familiar favorites and crowd-pleasing anthems, Bon Journey has built a solid regional following through consistent, professional performances. The band focuses on recreating the excitement of a classic arena-rock concert in an approachable live setting, whether in clubs, casinos, community events, or theaters. Audiences leave singing along to the biggest songs from two legendary bands, making Bon Journey a reliable choice for fans seeking an authentic and engaging night of live music.
